Hello everyone!

My name is Brad Schiller, and I am the founder of Minerva Digital Asset Education, LLC. I chose the name because Minerva is a Roman goddess of wisdom, law, justice, and is also a sponsor of arts, trade, strategy, and commerce. These are all themes I see in the Web 3/Digital Asset space! Minerva is depicted on ancient Roman money, the Medal of Honor (U.S.), in the Harry Potter books and movies, and more. She also often depicted with an owl, which is the inspiration for the logo.

I am hoping by reading this newsletter, you will also become a wise owl in the Web 3/Digital Asset world!

About me:

I first dove into this world in November of 2017 near when I was about to graduate with my bachelor’s degree. I was first drawn in by the returns I was seeing in this asset class, and I did not want to miss out! Shortly after that, prices started to decline rapidly, and I was upside down on my investment. I was stubborn and didn’t want to sell at a loss, so I continued to hold my digital assets. I started to learn more about why they exist, how they can benefit humanity, and make the world a better place for everyone!

Fast forwarding to today; I have continued to keep my head down and continue my learning journey in this space. It has done so much for me in so many ways and has changed how I view the world in so many aspects of life. It gives me hope for our future, which is a blessing amongst a lot of things we all see frequently that are negative in the world. After learning for over 6 years now, I feel a calling to help others and pass on what I have learned. I want to help EVERYONE that would like to learn more because at its best, Web 3 is for EVERYONE, and I mean EVERYONE regardless of race, gender, age, nationality, sexuality, etc. Lots of organizations or people say this, but on-chain it can be verifiable that this is 100% TRUE!

How the newsletter will work:

I am planning to have a weekly publication of the most impactful news of the week in this space. I will also speak on macroeconomics, other asset classes, personal finance principles, and more that will be relevant to what is happening in Web 3 and the digital asset industry. I want to limit the time to read weekly to around 5-10 minutes per week. I will try and post sources as much as possible for folks that like to dig in a little deeper! I plan to post the newsletter weekly Saturday nights. I currently post a weekly update of a mock crypto portfolio, and my weekly charts of the week video. From time to time, I may also do special reports outside of the normal weekly cadence!

Closing Thoughts:

Over the last 6 years I have done at least an hour of research or more per day on average in this industry, if not more, and I am not exaggerating. I consume as many YouTube videos, tweets, podcasts, and more in this space as possible. I easily have thousands and thousands of hours of time I have put into learning more! In the last 6 years, I have also completed my MBA which doesn’t mean much for this, but I did learn lots of great ways to research and share my findings thanks to my work towards that degree. With that being said, I am by no means an expert. If anyone claims to be an expert in this industry, they are fooling themselves, and would be considered a red flag! I will always recommend comparing what I say to other knowledgeable folks in Web 3. If lots of folks are saying the same things, there is a higher chance that it is true! I also welcome constructive criticism of my work.

My promise to all readers is that I will do my best to be as accurate and objective as I can be, and whatever I say/write will be accurate at the time to the best of my knowledge. Things can change rapidly in this space, so staying up to date is especially important!
